Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, and moved to the US to continue my violin studies in 1999.

Favorite hobby?
Exploring beautiful Alabama outdoors with my family. I also love traveling, hiking, running (completed Mercedes half-marathon for first time this year). I am also a member of Birmingham table tennis club and play regularly (it has been suspended since the start of the pandemic).
Favorite part of being a member of the ASO?Being part of a world class orchestra right here in Birmingham. Making music with my wonderful colleagues, and being part of unique live musical experiences that our audiences love and cherish. Also playing for our youngest members of society in schools, auditoriums, and introducing them (many for first time) to the magic of live music.
